Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy, my bottle. Poured clear light amber with a decent lasting tight foamy straw-coloured head. Nice fresh citrus juicy hop aroma (orange and sweet grapefruit, some pineapple and apricot) with decent light roast malt - not overwhelming, but very pleasant. Pretty standard IPA taste, a bit soapy, the hops are quite muted though - has a softly bitter finish. This is pretty average all round on the palate - moderately carbonated, moderately astringent, relatively quick finishing with a bit of a orange peel aftertaste. Not bad, there are many ahead of it from Cali.

(Green) Bottle 355 ml
Appearance : Clear standard amber , medium creamy top.
Nose : Good clan classic west coast hops . Well planned – citric mango like hops with greener backing. Harmonus.
Flavour/Palate : Medium soft bodied that goes well with hop-fruit character. Quiet balanced as IPA can go. Soft malty finish with clean refreshing end. Satisfying brew.

Dark Amber color, small head. Fully hopped, medium malts. A nice hoppy full-bodied IPA. Hoppy without being too bitter. Good flavor. Aftertaste is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is hoppy, mostly bitter

Orangey amber, creamy white head (3+). Nice hoppy aroma, moderate hops with light fruity notes. Similar flavour, lightly hoppy. Average palate. Quaffable but I was hoping for more from Lagunitas. Thanks Jon. 6-7/3+/6-7/3/14

Bottle and Draft. Pours an amber body with a white head. Very fresh chewy lush hop character and loads of grass, its like chewing on some fresh cut grass. Good shit.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with fine particulate softly carbonated and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle at home, bought at Bibendum vinbutikken. Clear amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma: hoppy (garden flower, pine needle), a little sweet caramel. Taste: very aggressive hoppy bitterness (grass and pine), sweet malts. Aftertaste:Hop, grass and citrus.

Light, shiny amber orange beer with a big ol’ poofy head. The aroma is full of essence, malty yet citricly inviting. Very nicely pronounced grapefruit hop tones with a resiny feel and a sweet finish over the tongue. Very, very good.
