Long lasting finish that opens up more doors of hop flavor. pivo (2537), Germany

Light malt body gets quickyl overpowered by a high resolution, bright hop bitterness that stays around forever. The bitterness actually seems to INCREASE after the swallow. Great effect. Smooth, crisp, excellent IPA. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA

First the malt - yep, there's some in here, showing up in the thin stream of sweetness down the center of my tongue. The citrus/fruit aroma carries thru to the resiny hops full of thick grapefruit juice - I was surprised at how hoppy it seemed when the bottle lists 44 IBU. This would be perfect for a summertime picnic JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Nose is not without a wonderful nutty, caramelly malt presence. Perfectly balanced, strong chewy malts, Bitter flavorful hops. Not overly bitter, smooth and lasting flavor. Quality is apparent at first sip. Awesome. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Old: 12/29/02Nose is like a pine forest. Flavor is impressively complex hops and little else. Great sticky lacing on the glass. This is the poster child of overhopped West Coast beer. Unecessarily bitter. Does have its moments, however. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Orangy hazy light brown. Beautiful rich body, with the hops and citrus cutting thorugh the malt in harmony...Hops heaven...excellent beer! Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Aroma is spot on for a good IPA, fresh and full of pine, fruit, citrus, sharp and lively, hoppy as all-get-out! I keep wanting to return to the smell of it, and each time it refreshes with this particular aromatic profile.
Taste: juuust right, with blasts of hops, under a solid malt foundation, flooding the tongue and dominating the senses in every way, without going overboard.
Just delicious, and exactly the way an IPA should act, if it’s worth it’s mustard, I say. Long, hoppy finish, sticks in the mouth and like it there. Mmmmm, I keep thinking, while this flavor never quits,...Mmmmmmm. y0cola (361), fremont, California, USA
