Sep 4, 2008 Pours a copper orange with a one finger creamy light yellow head. The nose was very resinous and hoppy, sweet, citrusy, lightly piny and earthy, spicy, mandarin orange. The flavor is mostly earthy herbal hops, lightly citrusy, some pink grapefruit. The mouthfeel could have been more substantial.

Apr 11, 2006 Updated: Jun 20, 2006From bottle. Hearty orange amber pour with an even, medium off-white head. Cleansing fresh aroma of grapfruit citrus and orchid blossoms, all balanced by a semi-sweet brown sugar and prune maltiness. Smooth, slightly creamy texture that slides across the tongue delicately, rather than pierce it brutally with its hoppy talons. The hops take hold of the palate at first, allowing a soft white grapefruit to scrub the tongue clean. From there, this brew’s softer side takes over, allowing some flavors of wheat toast and raisin to enter the picture. Final smack of delicate grapefruit rind.

Feb 6, 2006 Pours rich golden with good carbonation. Aroma is intense hops with fruity and floral bouquet. Initial flavor is very balanced, with the hops eventually overpowering the rich malt. Finishes with a lingering bitterness, but overall is VERY smooth for an IPA.

Nov 5, 2006 12oz bottle. Clear golden color with light red hue. Thin white head. Nice malt and pine hop aroma. Nearly balanced mix of malts and hops. Some mild caramel malts give way to piney hop bitterness that run up the flavor. This beer isn’t too hoppy but just about right for a standard IPA.

Nov 20, 2006 12oz bottle. Aroma: Citrusy hops with a bit of lemon and orange, Medium malt sweetness with some light graininess and a bit of caramel. A light touch of green apple. Appearance: Light copper in color and clear. Off-white head was full and rocky with nice retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Semi-sweet malt up front with a touch of caramel. Big grapefruit and some pine resin, followed by another hit of malt that leads into the finish. Medium-high bitterness is well balanced and refreshing. Palate: Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Overall: A great IPA that I wish I could find closer to home.

Sep 19, 2006 dark orange in color. golden khaki colored foamy thin head.Hopped up aroma. of citrus, grapefruit. Tasted a slight bitter malt. Kinda cereal, then BAM! The bitterness finishes off strong.

Jul 16, 2007 Enjoyed at AT@T park as a matter of fact. That stand behind home plate. 7$. Of course thats a rip off. I know. It was good though. A little more characteristic than your standard.
