Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

Full nose of citrus fruit and caramel malts. Lightly sweet body with caramel notes evolving into light grapefruit and light hops. Not overwhelming, but the finish thins out a bit.

Nice hop aroma and flavor. Well rounded flavors, not as bitter as expected. Very crisp and clean.

On draft at McGregor’s. Gorgeous looking orange with thick creamy head. Standard full aroma of grapefruit. Very nice balanced malty and hoppy palate. Loved it. Had again at the Dinosaur with some spicy food. Worked very well with the food.

From the bottle. Good nose, citrusy sweet. Orange brown color. Burnt & bitter,Hoppy with enough malt to stand up. Creamy clean finish. Tasted better at the Big Basin Bistro on draft 03/29/03. I'd be happy with them anytime

[Bottled from Fish and beer, Copenhagen.] Deep amber with a creamy, tan head. Soft, grassy, smooth, hoppy aroma and flavour with light toffee. Slightly vinous with a dry, medium bitterness.

Solid India pale ale. Not as hoppy as other west coast IPA's, but a great example of the style.

March 1, 2005: Just sampled a couple of these on tap at JFK Int’l while waiting to board a delayed flight. Overall, I found this IPA to be very tasty and satisfying -- a NICE effort!

Tried this again on tap at the Blue Tusk in Syracuse, NY -- excellent IPA!

12 oz. bottle on Nov. 15, 2006: This is a VERY tasty and well-balanced IPA. A bit more subdued (i.e., not over-the-top hoppy) like some of the other West Coast varieties, but this is definitely a winner.

Pours a orange-copper color with light white head and minimal lacing. Piney aroma is very prevalent upon pour, after it settles a bit, a grapefuit flavor emerges. Not as hoppy as expected but still nice, touched by a hint of malt. Very light on the palate and light to medium bodied. Pretty good brew.
