Commercial Description:
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on.

A great Triumph. I am a Hop-Head if there ever was one. An IPA at only 45 IBUs?... Proposterous! Except it's a beautiful ale. Very high in hop aroma. So they didn't throw the hops in at the first mention of a boil?... So what! A greatly aromatic IPA witha wonderful malt presence and great aromas. I love it whether you call it an American Pale Ale, an English IPA or,... I don't giva a shit. This is a well thought out recipe for a wonderful beer style!

Oily, floral hop nose. Smells like a field in spring. Sweet full body backed by a wonderful blend of clean hops. One doesnt outweigh the other; nice balance. Great grasp of style.

Smelled very strongly of American hops, and poured a light amber with a decent head. The flavor is very nicely balanced. Good bitterness from the hops without being medicinal, and then a crisp malt finish that isn't too sweet. The hops aftertaste sticks around for a while.

Pale orange/amber with an originally good, yellowish head, slightly irregular. Very grapey, slightly resiny, typical USA-hops nose. I don’t know if it are really 43 kinds, but they’re good. (Quite) a bit of cakey malts, and some orangepeel-oils or mandarinepeel-oils, apart from the terpenes. Ends a bit soapy, in a good way. Dry bitterish taste, superposed on quite a lot of caramelly malts, sweet, but step by step the bitterness of the hopoils overwhelm. It halts just the right side of becoming metallic, but a kind of galvanic sour-e-rish taste is there. The balance is near 100% perfect. Slightly sharp, bit oily slickness, medium bodied. One of the best West Coast IPA’s I’ve ever had, and one of the, if not the best balanced. Big thanks to J. for this unexpected gift!

I have never had anything from this brewer before but being that I am a bit of a hophead I was looking forward to trying it. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy bronze color with a large tan head. The aroma is strong grapefruit and fruit cocktail. The mouthfeel is nice and fairly thick. The malt presence surprised me in such a hoppy beer. The flavor is strong full bore grapefruit and fruit cocktail. The beer is marvelously hoppy and pleasantly sweet with a goodly amount of malt despite the dominance of the hyper aggressive hops. Wonderful.

yum yum!! 43 hops and 65 malts and still subtle. starts sweet, ending in a persistent fresh hop flavor in the back of the throat. Mild carbonation, nice foamy head, cumulus like. Good balance for an IPA, reminds me of Anchor Liberty.
