| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 bottle. Aroma is resin, flowers, some caramel malt, and spice. Large white foamy head that mostly lasted and left good lace. Clear, sparkling, light amber hue. Flavor is almost sweet but turns caramel then quickly bitter. Clean on the finish. Palate is light and lively. Not a bad one but dosen’t stand out in any way. Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Drank this while doing some late night drafting on a human rights declaration. It was actually rather satisfying, as disappointed as I sometimes/often am in IPAs. This particular one gave me a greater feel of a DIPA than an IPA, so well balanced it was by a robust caramel malt body, with enough sweetness and a tickle of alcohol. Indeed, a 7.8% alcohol for an IPA is high. In this case, it all worked out into a fairly enjoyable beer. Not especially bitter in the finish, too, which was the bonus. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Flaske.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2008 2008-06-16. Bottle. Golden yellow body, smallish white head. Sweet aroma has a light fragrant flower character to it, with and odd spice presence - the cobination reminds me of scented soaps from Grandma’s bathroom for some reason. Strange, but not unpleasant (6+). Flavour has similar moderate floral and spice overtones, in a muted flavour of sweet pale malt. Average palate. Decent but the floral and spice is what I find most prominent and I do not particularly care for it. [Post rating note - this is an IPA????? We have a second bottle, perhaps I will see how that one fares.] Bottle courtesy of trade with sdbruboy.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden colour with medium creamy white mostly lasting head. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavor. MiP (9090), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Bottle, 7.8%. Fruity aroma, distinct elderflower notes. Almost clear golden orange colour, small white head. The flavour is very clean with a good, noticeable bitterness and ending on a fruity note with a hint of yeast. Goes down very well. Not heavy in spite of ABV. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 24, 2008 Bigger than a typical IPA, on its way towards IIPA. Very nice, big nose, fresh hops, resny, citrusy, and a slightly biscuity sweetness. Delicious and refreshing.
