I really like this one. It’s very smooth for such a big beer. It has hops like an IPA but not as much of the bitterness. The aroma on this one is killer...they must have dry hopped the shit out of this one. Big hop flavor with not as much bitterness you would expect following such hoopy flavors. Speaking of flavors...ton’s of pine, cedar and grapefruit. The malt character on this is pale and just barely noticeable below the hops which are the star of the show. Low bitterness give this a really nice balance overall. YUM!!

Bottled. Light hazy and golden orange coloured with a rather large off-white head. Quite refreshing and light with a nice balance. Body a bit too thin.

Pours a yellowish orange. Aroma of floral hops and citrus. Flavor is hoppy, but mellowed out by toasted malts. A bit thin

22oz. bottle. Enticing, juicy and freshly citric nose, full of hop resin, grapefruit, pine and cedar, along with touches of of floral, honeyish sweetness, pale malt grains and lemongrass. Clear light golden color with a sticky, billowy head and impressive lacing. Rather impressively constructed flavor profile, beginning with a dose of grapefruit and lemon, seeing a delicate maltiness emerge, bringing a honeysuckle sweetness and lightly toasty, white breadiness blended with fading herbal, leafy, piney tones towards the finish. The bitterness is present but skillfully minimized, allowing the soft malts to shine through and lending a stunning degree of drinkability and balance as a result. Airy, creamy and smooth on the palate, drying out a touch. Medium-bodied. This is a really good IPA, utterly belying its strength. Thanks to boboski!

(Bottle) Pours amber. The aroma is sweet fruity and hoppy with floral and citrus tones of tangerine, sweet grapefruit and oranges, fruits like mango, pineapple, peach and apricot are all present. Malty with notes of cookies and toast to mild caramel. Some vanilla ice cream. The flavour is of toasted malt, floral and citric hoppy and peach/mango fruity. Medium peppery bitter and light to medium sweet. The mouthfeel smooth and quite soft. Hoppy and fruity aftertaste with a late afterbitterness. Medium bodied. A very nice and fruity IPA.

22oz bottle courtesy of NYbeer. Perhaps an older bottle. Not a ton of hops on the nose. Much more malt-forward. More along the lines of an ASA than an IPA. Behind the malt, there’s some perfumy and zesty citrus hops. Pours bright light copper with a thin white head. More bitter on the tongue than on the nose. Unimpressive. Dry, grassy hops. Some bitter orange and toasty biscuit but overall just bitter. Medium bodied. Lively carbonation with a bitter and slightly watery finish.

has a nice floral hop flavor to it, is a very bitter at the end and for an aftertaste, one of the bitterest IPA’s i’ve had.

Clear golden of color with a weak white head. An aroma of grass, grapefruit - nice fresh aroma. A flavor of grass, hops and malty notes.
