Thanks for sharing, Weepie! Dark gold body with a white head. Earthy grapefruit and floral hops. Some sour notes of body sweat with a little bit of mushrooms. The taste has some grapefruit with cinnamon toast. The body is lightly carbonated with some notes of peanuts. A nicely made beer, but a little too earthy for me.

Bottle, thanks to my son Steinar. Golden colour, large head. Nice aroma of fruity American hops. The flavour is sweet and hoppy with a very bitter finish, but I don’t get much complexity, let alone subtlety. I’m not a big fan of this one.

Draft at Stateline. Poured a clean golden color body with a big frothy white head. The nose is grassy and piney with some sweet grapefruit notes. The flavors starts with a pretty big malt profile loaded with grapefruit, and pine sap and some random spices with a somewhat dry finish.

Bomber, been in the fridge for a while, since I just went to the brewery I thought I should pop this. Shared with Cyn and some pals. Pours orange with a nice big 3 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and hoppy. Taste is sweet hoppy and a bit more bitter than I’d like it to be.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of very fresh grapefruity and floral hops. Some mild sweetness is noticeable, along with a dash of peaches. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice carbonated feel with a potent dose of hops hitting the taste buds first. They then fade to a malty backbone while showing some fruits. Aftertaste is clean and refined for an IPA - no harsh alcohol or anything - just a pleasant hop bitterness. Overall, a good IPA, a bit light, but very nice! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 11-January-2008.

66 cl bottle: Pours clear orange with a egg white head & lacings. Grapefruit, citrus, peach, pineapple - very sweet & heavenly aroma, feel like using the word "cute". Fresh, crisp & pleasant amount of bitter biting hops. Very dry lasting hoppy end. Gimmesummo’ goddammit! Tremendous IPA.

Lagunitas has quickly become one of my favorite breweries, but this one let me down a little. It wasn’t bad, just not that good. Pours a beuatiful clearish golden yellow color with a big foamy white head. Smells hoppy but not too bitter, kind of a weak sweet hoppy smell. A little citrus. Tastes sweet, and not as hoppy as I would have hoped from a Lagunitas DIPA. Palate is thin, crisp, and smooth. Good carbonation. Pretty good brew. I was just hoping for something a little more aggressive but, on the other hand, I have never listened to, nor heard of the band this beer references so maybe if I had I would appreciate it more. Who knows, just a thought.
