Dec 28, 2007 Bomber: Aroma has got a big hop note to it, pine needles, and really pungent scent overall. Pours a clear golden with a tint of orange to this brew, and a huge fluffy white head that lingers for quite a while. Taste has a milder hop texture than the aroma. more of a citrus and grapefruit note, bubblegum, and quite mild for an IPA. Palate is slightly bitter with an aftertaste that is gone before it starts. Overall, It’s an OK IPA, but I should have got it fresh because I’m sure the hops have mellowed since the release. Cheers!

Dec 28, 2007 Bomber. Pours a clean orange color with a really big head. Aromas remind me of Pinesol: clean and resiny. Flavor is heavy on resin and hops bitterness, but this is pretty nice. Not really complex, but really appreciated.

Dec 27, 2007 Opague golden beer with a medium white head. Aroma is a little fruity with a little bit of hops coming through. A very well balanced IPA. Not a lot of bitterness, but very well done.

Dec 27, 2007 Draft at HDG. Puffy white head sits atop A clear golden body. Aroma is both fresh hopped and cracked grains. Destinct Lagunitas flavor with citrus hop fruits.

Dec 25, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy gold orange, off white head. Aroma is tangerine, caramel, peat. The smell of wet bog is not a good sign of things to come for me. Flavor is hops (tangerine), wheat, caramel, peat.

Dec 25, 2007 Pours from the bomber a slightly hazy golden orange color. Creates an attractive 1" off-white head with superb retention. Some spotty lacing noted as snifter empties. Extremely pleasant fruity hop aromas of Juicy Fruit gum, fresh cut grapefruit and orange with just a hint of lemon. I’m sensing lots of Amarillo hops here? Much more subdued background aromas of lightly toasted malts and pine needles make their way through also. Mouthfeel was light but smooth and creamy with a fine bead carbonation. Flavor profile much like the aroma. Starts out on the sweet fruity side (again like the flavor of Juicy Fruit gum) but is quickly followed up with a firm clean and crisp citrus rind notes. Finish is well balanced with some faint malty sweetness makinf an appearance. At 7.8% its on the light side for a DIPA, but quite tasty and easy drinking for sure. Really enjoyed this one.
