It could have been goat piss, but how often do you see a tribute to Frank on a beer bottle? Anyway, it pours a slightly hazy, darker orangish-golden color. There was a good 1/2" of head that leaves some lacing. Citrus and a hint of pineapple to the nose. Medium bodied, with a good hop bite to it. A light sweetness in the finish. a10555 (125), West Chester, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 7, 2007 Nice Floral scent and beautiful color. This brewery has something that I just love. They haven’t made a bad beer in my opinion yet. The best thing to say is Kill Ugly Radio, but do not Kill this beer. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Great IPA. Not overly intense. I think I enjoyed this more than other beers named after odd dead people (Lenny Bruce, Hunter S. Thompson). ajm (949), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 4, 2007 22oz bottle. Beer pours a blood orange color with a nice frothy, off white head....nice lacing. Nose of pine, orange peel and floral hops. A great brew! Driftwood6 (214), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2007 On tap at Map Room, Chicago. Hoppy but a little thin in the body. Bitterness is not overwhelming. Slighter harsher than Goose Island IIPA, and not quite as grassy sweet as FFF Dreadnaught. I thought it was pretty good, but I tend to compare all IIPAs to Dreadnaught, so most are slightly disappointing to my palate. csbosox (1082), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 2, 2007 On tap @ Maproom. Citrus and tropical fruits in the aroma as well as some light honey sweetness. Flavor is tons ’o citrus (orange, tangerine), mango, and pineapple. Bitterness is there, but very unassuming. It was billed as a IIPA at the bar, but it really is more of a high alcohol IPA than a west coast IIPA.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear and gold with thin white head, lots of sticky lace. Aroma is hoppy, with pine, resin, fruity apricot and peach. Flavor is a little sweet but quite bitter through the end. Quite floral in it’s hoppiness with hints of citrus and a honey like sweetness. This is an easy drinker.
