Nov 22, 2007 nice brew. tasted it on thanksgiving bought it at a jug shop around the corner from my moms crib. they were playing professor murder inside of the store when i was shopping so that was kind of crazy.

Nov 22, 2007 A clean golden pour with almost no head. A nose that hops dominate. A very malty flavor with good hops bitter finish. It is a bit thin but not bad. carbonation is ok. A very solid offering that was a bit of a surprise for me. I like the lingering bitter.

Nov 22, 2007 Bottle. Orange, grapefruit and grassy hops aroma. Medium yellow amber color with small head. Sweet orange malt flavor up front with a metallic pine hops finish. A good beer - I guess though for a beer honoring the great Frank Zappa, I would have expected something more obscure and unexpected. Still, a nice memorial.

Nov 21, 2007 Bottle. Translucent orange pour with a white head. Sweet toasted pale malt, citrus , grass, and tropical fruits fill out the aroma. Flavors of tangy tropical fruit, citrus rind, light grass and caramel. Medium body bitter with a bitter finish. Nice.

Nov 20, 2007 pour is a clear light amber in color, small white head that seems to leave quickly, good lacing on the glass, i would have rated the appearance if the head stayed around a bit longer.
smell is of grapefruit, distant malts, touch of christmas tree (can i say christmas???).
taste is as it smells, well balanced IPA, wish there was more of a bight to it though, ends bitter and slightly metallic.
overall a nice IPA just nothing new here for a special released brew, dont get me wrong it is good, just was wishing for more.

Nov 20, 2007 Bomber poured a clear copper with a large lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pin e and light grapefruit. Palate was light to medium bodied crisp and slightly dry. Flavors of carmel earthiness, light pine and light grapefruit with a crisp lightly dry lingering bitter finish.

Nov 19, 2007 Huge hop aroma. Taste is hops and not much else. Solid IPA with nice grapefruit flavors. Typical west coast IPA.
