| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Watched this while the boys and I were at Tommy’s watching the Bucks dismantle Michigan to win an outright 3rd Big 10 Title and a trip to the Rose Bowl. Smells like an IPA (that was a guess) - perfume & pine resin, spice & citrus. Pours a clear sparkling golden. the tall white fluffy rocky head is fully lasting with good lacing. Sharp flavor with a high level of acidity. Bitterness through and through with a floral quality to the finish. The medium body is lively and dry. Excellent. Soonah (970), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2007 On tap. Poured a clear, pale copper with a solid, foamy head that was white to off-white. The head had good retention and provided thick, sheet-like lacing for most of the glass. The aroma was a nice blend of floral, earthy hops, pine hops and some citrus. Not your typical over the top, west coast pine and citrus blast with this one. The earthen, floral aspect came through quite nicely with this beer. The beer was a bit more standard in terms of taste as the pine hops seemed to take a more assertive stance. The floral hops were there along with thin citrus and sweet malt. The mouthfeel was light bodied plus. Nicest thing I’ve ever had from these guys and one of the more enjoyable IPAs I’ve come across. dmtroyer (415), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2007 22oz bottle. Clear dark straw pour with a dense white head. Mostly hops in the nose, it follows in the body with some good orange citrus and pine hops on the dry finish. Tasty, but lacking in complexity overall, this lighter style IPA seemed to do best as it warmed up a bit and with a bit of sugar on the palate. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Draft at the Blind Tiger. Some citrus and pine in the aroma. All the same elements of a good session IPA. The malt wasn’t too earthy, and it was quite tasty. Maybe not a lot to say on this one. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2007 22 oz. brown bomber bottle. Typical color, smell & flavors of a West Coast IPA. Nothing special here. Pretty good beer overall though. Modulo (6), Sellersville, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 15, 2007 Lighter for an IPA but very drinkable. Hoppy up-front this beeer pours an amber color, smells grrreat and is followed up by a lot of citrus to cut through the hops. Frank would be happy!!!
