Aroma was mainly pine, hops, and citrus. The flavor is very hoppy up front, but a good kick of citrus helps even it out. Kind of bready and a bit of earth as well. Nice and bitter finish. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Pours a clear medium to darkish gold, nice head fades to a thin coat, good lacing. Aroma is hops all the way, with grapefruit, pineapple, a bit of pine, and faint earth and floral. Complex and inviting. Flavor is also highly hop oriented, with more of an emphasis on pine, a bit of earth and grapefruit, and a touch of floral on the finish. Dry biscuit malts, enough to keep it held together. Very nice. yespr (12407), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Comments: A fruity, citrusy and peachy IPA with an abusive residual sugar presence and does not have the body to go with it.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 13, 2007 The pour is a nice gold color. The nose is pure grapefruit and hops. Nicely hopped up and smooth at the same time. Somewhat dry, with a hint of oily lemon and a grapefruit with powdered sugar blended in. Not bad at all. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 13, 2007 The pour from the 22 ounce bottle is a crystalline gold, portly bright white creamy head settles slowly, leaving a tight coating upon the glass. Nose has a grassy, piney, aroma, chased by the sweet malt, citrus like crispness, fresh as they come. Start has a decent malt profile, with a lip smacking hop bite, top is medium in feel. Finish has a delightful acidity, the hops potent in their spiciness, very dry lingering aftertaste, a fine drinking beer, seems a bit different than most Lagunitas brews, but you just don’t know about them till you pour it, and take a gulp, one thing I know for sure, it will be good IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA
