This is damn good! Stong piney, resinous hop flavors in this one. Not for the weak. It’s pure bitterness. Along the lines of Lost Coast’s Indica. Poured very frothy with a white foam in a half yard. Pine kicks in and doesn’t let go.

Bottle. Grapefruit and floral hop nose, with light musk/pine notes. Completely clear with slow rising carbonation to a thin steady head. Strong bitterness, but well balanced and very smooth.

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with an off white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles, grass and grape fruits. Fruity flavour of hops, pine needles and grape fruits. Very dry hoppy finish.

22 oz bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with a nice medium-thick head. Aroma is sweet malts with a strong presence of hops. Flavor is a strong hop and citrus flavor, with a notable presence of malts. The beer itself is quite bitter, which wraps up this beer quite nicely.

Bottle. Poures a golden yellow with a whitish head. Aroma more of malt than hops. Flavor had more hop presence than the aroma, but overall left me disappointed. Just sort of bland, not their best effort.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is predominantly sweet malts with light citrus lurking. The flavor is again sweet malts and citrus hops, but there was a funkiness to it that took away from my overall enjoyment. Fairly dry, bitter finish.

Yummy indeed. Good all around IPA that does a nice job of showing off aroma and flavor hops without being too bitter for the style. On the dry side, which makes for great drinkability.

The Dan Journal #127. Tasted 11/8/07. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a bright golden hue. Spiraling white head. Soggy malts, trub. Granola and fruity esters. Bitter citrus flavors. Piney and spicy. Tart. Big bitterness. Total grapefruity esters bomb. Touch sugars in the malt side, but hop dominant. Solid!
