| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Pours a clear golden/straw color with a thin white head. Clean malty aroma with a good deal of earthy hops on the nose, but not really enough for an IPA. Taste has a bit more hop character to it, but it really tastes like a hoppy golden rather than a straight-up IPA. As it warmed, the hops tasted kind of soapy. Still, very drinkable and enjoyable, just not a 90th percentile IPA in my book. waolsen (1223), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Light cloudy golden colour. Fair lacework. Lovely sweet hoppy floral sniff. Notes of elderflower, pineapple. Peach / apricot like fruity notes. Over the palate were caramel, grain and light bitter citrus like feel. Medium bodied with a very dry texture and an average carbonation. Moderate sweet and bitter flavour. Dry and apricot finish which ends lingering bitter. 3 / 8 / 8 / 3 / 15 = 3.7 greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Nice citrus, floral, and malt nose. Similiar flavor, with a lemon bite. Nice hop finish. Not to much to brag about, but a decent IPA. tjthresh (1779), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Pours a golden yellow orange with a large bubbled, slightly off white head. Lots of bubble clung to the side of my glass.
Light Juicey Fruit hop aroma with a touch of graininess.
Again with the Juicey Fruit flavors, and the finished with a grainy grassiness. Muted or subdued bitterness.
Thin body. Oily. Dry finish.
Not bad at all. jmuhops (663), Winchester, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 31, 2007 Pours clear light amber with a fluffy white head. Smells like Lagunitas: tons of pine and light hop sweetness. Tastes like Lagunitas: hoppy, with respectable malt balance. It’s good--very good, actually--but, in the end, an old trick from an old dog. At least they don’t charge out the rear for a standard IPA in special edition packaging. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
