Oct 1, 2007 Medium straw color with a slight orangeish hue. Aroma is very citrusy - orange, grapefruit, a hint of lemon. Taste is pleasantly sweet, with a nice citrusy hop presence. Does not come off as 7.8% alcohol to me.

Oct 1, 2007 22 oz. bomber. Pours a clear gold with a moderate slightly off-white head that lasted to the bottom of the glass and left light lacing. Strong aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor is more dominated by the pine with some grapefruit as well. Bitter finish.

Sep 30, 2007 22 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is dirty peppery, piney hops with some doughy malts.
The flavor is floral hops that are kind of medicinal and metallic. The mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.
Overall, this was a bit of a disappointment. Normally I like Lagunitas, but this one didn’t do it for me.

Sep 30, 2007 Strong grape fruit hop aroma. Clear orange color with a small white head. Initially smooth quickly changing into the same hop as in the aroma with not an over powering aroma. Great strong IPA thats well balanced.

Sep 30, 2007 Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Clear golden color with a medium, fading white head. Sweet aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor starts with a sharp grassy, citrus bitterness followed by Tropical fruit sweetness and a dry grapefruit rind finish. Medium body is crisp and tangy with lively carbonation.

Sep 30, 2007 22 oz bottle picked up at Ramsey Liquors, NJ. Pours a beautiful clear golden/light copper with a thick off-white head. Striking, citrusy, catty PacNW hop nose. The malt bill is simple, clearly to showcase the hops. Notes of pale brewing malt, light bread, no real sign of caramel, and then a strong grapefruit-citrus dominated catty hop flavor. Resinous, not in a pine way but more towards the grapefruit side. Well-attenuated, only a moderate amount of sweetness. The bitterness is there, but very smooth. Alcohol content very well-hidden. Medium bodied, very drinkable with a smooth texture and lively carbonation that brings the hop flavor and aroma forward. Overall, good.
