Sep 23, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Simple rendition, not very exciting. Very watery mouthfeel. Ok.

Sep 23, 2007 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and floral. Tastes of oranges, caramel, and grapefruit. The aroma is all about hops with the tastes being somewhat balanced. Thinner body. Alcohol content well hidden.

Sep 23, 2007 noticeable lack of the lagunitas tell tale straw.i welcome the change. perfumy in the nose with (also) fruit (nice). above average ipa. quite bitter grapefruit tang. nothing a hop dog will ever complain about. there is a low pine taste in there. good mouthfeel with carbonation. just a touch too bitter.

Sep 23, 2007 22 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a meduim white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and bread dough. Slightly yeasty taste with a hint of malt that is dominated by the pine hop type flavor. Has a bitter finish. A run of the mill west coast IPA.

Sep 22, 2007 Bottle: Clear gold with a small white head that vanishes quickly. The hop aroma could bring Zappa back from the grave! It is like a dry juniper bush on a hot, 100 degree, Boise summer day. I also picked up on some ripe, fresh apricots. The taste is exactly what you would expect from my notes on the aroma. Because of the fruity notes, it isn’t as harsh as you would expect, but very well made and a refreshing IPA all around. The higher alcohol % is hidden well. Thanks Indiana_Red!

Sep 22, 2007 Bottle pours a clear light yellow orange. Medium sized off-white head and spotty lacing. Lots of bright sharp aromas of orange zest and flowery hops. Flavor is light moderate malts, and plenty of IBUs. Decent hop flavor and plenty bitter. A bit papery on the trailer and a fairly light palatte. Surprized to see it at nearly 8%
Very nice for a middle weight IPA.
