Bright grapefruit and lemon hop aroma. Flavor has an excellent bright hoppiness, with hints of grapefruit, herbs, lemon and spruce. Very "Lagunitas" in style, excellent hop character with very little malt contribution. They seem to do a lot of bombers like this, and I think it’s great. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Gold with medium white head and no carbonation. Citrus aroma. The taste was of citrus hop with bitter finish. Where’s the malt profile?? Believe me, this is nothing special. BlackForestCO (828), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Poured from a bomber. Poured a deep orange-yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of hops and sweet citrus. Nice, sweet malt taste with a hint of grapefruit that leads into a nice hoppy finish. Good carbonation and nice mouthfeel. Nice beer overall, but it doesn’t really differentiate itself in any way. thegreenrooster (1842), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Pour is a bright copper with a large white head. Aroma is a vast amount of pine hops with some rye malts. Flavor is a little weak but you get your pine hops with a malty backbone. Finsih is very bitter and watery. Funny this is one beer by Lagunitas that is not hopped out the wazoo. Just an average or slightly below average IPA, not the hop bomb i was hoping for. Bonus is that it only cost $3.99. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Nose is citrus and floral. Taste starts with some sweet caramel, then some biscuity grains, and some orange, grapefruit, pineapple & pine hoppiness. Body is medium, carbonation is just right. The is a nice and pretty hoppy IPA, but with a good malt backbone. One of the better IPA’s I have had recently. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Bottle: Deep golden with good amount of clarity and an off-white film for head. Mild hop nose, with a mild orange/peach fruity background. Flavor is more subdued. Has a tingly palate, and some underlying hops hints. Not much character in the middle. Has a very subtle citrus note, but seems metallic. The finish has an inky bitterness. A mediocre IPA. kmweaver (2474), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a bright, orange-tinged yellow color; off-white head with patchy lacing. Dense, resiny citrus and grapefruit hop character; mild astringency and an earthy maltiness. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: syrupy, chewy malts with earthy hops; some resins; basic american strong ale chewiness (this is an IPA??), but not terribly deep. Medium, chewy sugar finish.
