bottle: pours a clear golden hue with a froathy white head. aroma is of fresh grapefruit, some floarl hops and a small malt background. flavour is bitter grapefruit hops, small amount of maltsthe bitter hops stays thru the whole palate abd finishes with a strong bitter citrus hop.pretty easy drinking, but almost to much like grapefruit juice. this does seem to get better as it warms the grapefruit is not as pungent.

Poured from a bomber. Clear and somewhat sickly appearance of metallic yellow. Dandelion stems, lavender, and yerba in dirty wet-hop aroma. Garlic spreads out a bit. Fairly spicy flavor of bitter herb and leaves. Ground basil, citrus skin, and grass. A quiet, estery touch of banana. Dulled tones of peach and apricot. Palate is pasty and rough, a grind of raw, green nut skins and shrub crunch. Lacking malt impact, almost entirely; thus severely needing for temperance. The dissonance of the hop strength is too ugly a chord in this case; it’s a bit too messily rendered to stand on its own. Thanks for sharing, Scott!

Bottle poured a clear copper color with nice off white head. Aroma was a strong citrus and pine hop with a nice caramel malt. The flavor had a strong bitterness with a fruity taste and good caramel malt body. Finish was slightly dry. Very good IPA.

22oz bottle: Pours to a clear, bright pale orange colored body with a medium eggshell colored head. Smells of fresh, juicy, wet hops, though not to the point that I’m thinking it’s going to be overpowering. I get notes of ripe grapefruit, grapefruit rind, fresh lime, and some sweeter fruity hop notes come through as it warms. Taste is more bitter hops than hop flavor up front - I guess that is to say the bitterness hits your tongue first, then some lighter malt flavors along with the bitter grapefruit, unripened orange rind, and unripened strawberry, maybe a hint of unripened peach. The flavors from the hops seem to hit mostly the back and sides of the tongue, some of which I don’t get until after I swallow. Light-medium bodied, lively carbonation, finishes with extended hop bitterness and leaves almost the same dry/bitter feeling you get in your mouth when you bite into a grapefruit rind. I really like the light body here, though I find the bitterness to almost take over the beer without rewarding the palate with enough hop flavor.

Bottle. Looks like a pale ale. Tons of Cascade hops on the tongue and in the nose. A very good beer. Beautiful to look @. Best Lag. brew yet.

clear gold with a small white foamy head. aroma of peach, and apricot. flavor is hoppy as usual from lagunitas. this one keeps and alcohol under control anyway. one the better ’hoppy’ offerings from them. these dudes must really love zappa!

Bottle from BevMo. Pours a medium golden color. Aroma is fairly sweet and quite hoppy. A mixture of sticky pine and citrus. Flavor is quite hoppy, without being extremely bitter. More of a balanced hop profile throughout. Dry spicy hop finish.
