Good, but not great for my tastes. PolakPorter (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA

I was a little shocked to see it wasn’t. Anyways, talk about fruity! Wow! It has a unique sweetness that is in a league of its own. Feels great going down and has a great lingering aftertaste. If you’re in the mood for a great sweet IPA with minimum bitterness, go check it out (if you can still find it). Jwasciuk (194), Lowell, Michigan, USA

Pours a golden color wtih a thin but foamy white head. Aroma is hoppy but also ciderish. Flavor is malty, almost like a boddingtons with a great hop bite. A little more hops and this would be world class!!! Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Bottle: Golden pour with a very frothy head. Very frothy. Aroma is juniper and buttery hops. Not too highly carbonated, flavor is flat pine and very bitter. I get a tinge of cherry in the aftertaste here. Just average for me. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Biright orange, huge white head.
Loud aromatics, spills out all over, vibrant, bright, shining out the full force of a pure, unadulterated hop attack. Pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, and all the needles on the pine forest floor.
Gorgeous!
There it is again in the taste, a sheer blast of bitterness. Pelting the palate with bitter hops, but also juicy fruit,...just enough malt to make it bearably, but this is an unabashed double IPA, a no-holds-barred, ball bruiser.
Apart from the bitter blast, fairly smooth and creamy, not so far from drinkable, either.
There’s something that creeps into the back of the throat that’s a bit unpleasant, a litter after-...something. A little drawback, that, I little drag away from delicious.
But the big hop flavor I do enjoy, I do, I do. I’m really liking this...not as raw as the Hopslam I had earlier, less punishing.

Well balanced, between the malt and the hops, but a lot of taste. The finish is bitter and then sweet. Ethereal (1511), London, Greater London, England

Light gold with a hoppy aroma and a well-balanced flavour. Not too complex, just good. Very soft on the palate, with a nice coconut aftertaste. Good stuff.
