| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2008 A- Pours with a big frothy head. Deep Golden in color with a huge amount of visible carbonation.
S- Smell is lots and lots of hops. Pine and citrusy grapefruit are the easiest notes to pick out.
T- Taste is bready, with pine and hop bitterness. Well balanced but I think it lacks in complexity and stays on the safe side of the DIPA category.
M- Mouthfeel is carbonated and a bit watery. I would have enjoyed it a little thicker.
D- This is on the extremely drinkable side for ABV and category and i’m not sure if thats such a good thing. Solid DIPA but there just isn’t much to it. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Bonus points for being a Zappa tribute. Wonderfully hoppy cascade aroma effervesces from a fluffy white head atop a golden clear body. Not particully well balanced, but enjoyable nontheless. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Pours amber and hazy with a thin white head. Smells resiny with some sweet malt bringing up the rear. Tastes lightly bitter with some nice spicy hints and a caramel finish. A fitting tribute to one of the best musicians of all time. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England

Gold with thin off white head. Really nice PNW hop. Grapefruit is lovely. Some choc lime. That’s my kinda beer. Just lacking a little in the malts. pintbypint (1019), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2008 650ml brown bottle. Deep gold colour with a touch of haze. Large white head, creamy sticky lacing. Aroma of fruity malt (apricot?) with sweetish citrus/grapefruity notes. Malty, fruity flavour with piney accents. Mild grapefruit in the finish. Dryish. Moderate balanced bitterness. Medium body, tight prickly carbonation profile. Sadly I don’t think is available in Alberta any longer. thewolf (5826), Kolding, Denmark

Pours deep golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is wonderfully hoppy with plenty of Cascade. Lightish mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour is wonderfully hoppy and with a great, dry finish. Good IPA. durhambeer (1226), Durham, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Admittedly, I’m rating this from memory... bottle I got in CA last November. First, let me point out that I got this bottle in a grocery store for $2.99, so that should up the rating even more than what I’m giving it. Insane deal. Pour was light amber, ever so slightly hazy. Some definite citrus, but I remember quite a bit of pine/resin on the palate... more so than others have rated. Maybe it mellowed out over the past few months? Definitely another solid beer from Lagunitas.
