jimmack (1212), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2007 22oz. bomber. Clear golden color with a small white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Fruity, hoppy aroma of grapefruit, apricot and some pine. Flavor is grapefruit pith, light pine, some green tea and a bit of caramel malt. A bit more of a malt presence would have been nice, but it was still very enjoyable.
Somewhat over carbonated, which took a bit away from the mouthfeel.
Johnroy (30), USA Oct 10, 2008 Wow, what a beer. 22 oz. Pours light with a nice wet straw aroma. First sip tellls you hops and the finish tells you hops. Not bitter. Refreshiing. A few of these and the ugly radio will make the ugly girls look better! Great beer. jsquire (1899), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Sep 13, 2008 Rich golden color with a creamy off white head. Bright, fresh grapefruit hop nose. Yep, this is a hoppy IPA. Grapefruit, apricot, candied orange peel, and fresh cut grass. The balance is nice with enough of a malty backbone to support it all, but the mouthfeel is a little thin. The alcohol is noticable in the finish, but not too distracting. OldRaspy (292), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Sep 8, 2008 From bomber what is needed to be said about this one other than HOPS, HOPS, HOPS. A great IPA a great balance of malt and hops the grapefruit flavor with a bit of malt sweetness. Juancho (204), New York, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 From bomber. Nice hazy look to it, smells hoppy, tastes nicely fruity and with a nice hop backbone. Very well balanced and hides the alcohol.
good stuff. pnista (894), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Aug 12, 2008 Clear golden yellow with a lighter looser white head, thinner, fading fairly fast. Light malt over slightly past prime juicy hops. Guava and papaya with some aspirin. Clear though, no skunk. Creamy to fizzy light but not watery body. Past prime hops are a bit stronger in the flavor. Light malt has some toast. Not a ton of depth. Fruity hops. Toasty astringent finish.
