Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Bottle. Pours a nice reddish golden color, nice white head. Very surprised by this ale, I enjoyed it more than I thought. Great mixture of hoppy bite and a malted sweetness. Found it cheap, and was rewarded with a quality brew.

A- Pours a clear amber color with a creamy off--white head that is mostly sustaining, good lacing throughout S- Nose is of citrus and pine hops, subtle sweetness and roasted/bread malts, well balanced with slight hint of alcohol T- Taste divided between roasty malts and citrus (grapefruit mostly) hops, caramel and pine are detectable as is lingering alcohol presence M- Medium body with adequate carbonation, oily texture, and short finish that is mostly bitter D- Very nice and well balanced hoppy Red that is noticeably easier to drink than other performers in the "Strong Ale" category. Sweet citrus tones and short finish make this a refreshing ale that can be enjoyed repeatedly through the night.

A: Rich copper color with off white head S: Citrusy hops, hints of orange, and pine. T: Rich flavor, with doughy malts, caramel, hops and pine. You can taste the alcohol but not overpowering. M: Sticky malt flavors coat the mouth. D: Nice balance between sweet and bitter.

Pours a wondeful amber color with a white forming head. Good taste of hops and smell of hops as well. Smooth with a little bit of bitter left in the mouth after swallow. Good brew... Luck brew!

Bomber from Total Wine in Norfolk poured into a pint glass on 1/17/09. Pours a burnt red/amber color with a half inch off-white head and abundant lacing. Aroma is of mild citrus with orange and lemon and some floral hops with a good amount of sweet malt, spices, and raisins. Flavor is not bad at all. Largely bitter up front and very malty with hints of citrus and cinnamon that makes it slightly sweet. Has a long lasting nutty bitterness. Palate is a bit syrupy but still smooth with decnt carbonation and a very long finish. A great value at $3.99 for a bomber.

Crushed with Jakebra. Nice. Huge head that sticks around forever. Got plenty of awesomeness. Incredibly drinkable, surprisingly. One of the best Lagunita’s brews I’ve tried. Little too sweet in the finish. It’s no Arrogant Bastard, but pretty aight.

Bottle. Almandine body with a 1” foamy head. Nose-hoppy, lightly grassy, smells like a brewery floor. Taste-hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, mouth stinging like a strong geuze, very hoppy, strong crystal malt background, grassy. Good use of malts versus hops.
