Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Rating #800! Pours a beautiful red copper color. Has a great 1" head that slowly turns a bit of a carbonated cream head. Nose of crisp apples, somewhat sweet malts and some good hop spices as well. Reminds me of a softer DIPA. Taste is mighty fine...with a great load of hops and a nice malty backbone to hold it up. Creamy, but not full...just perfect for what I like. Finish has that pithy citrus finish like some DIPAs as well. Very nice.

Pours a nice rich copper color. Thin head that leaves some fine lacing on the glass. Aroma is hops, sweet, and some spice. Hoppy up front, but mellows very quickly into a wonderfully pleasant bitter ending.

Pours a clear amber with a good size foamy white head. Lots of roasty caramel malt in the arome, with a touch of spicy hops. Flavor is more of the same. Slightly bitter at first, and smoothing out. Not bad at all.

Probably the best American Strong Ale I have had. If anyone out there knows of a better one let me know. Love the label and the beer inside is quite tasty.

Bottle pours a clear copper/amber color with a thin layer of head. Aroma is sweet, spicy, and hoppy. Flavor is very hoppy and bitter initially, sweet citrus and a mixture of spices folllows, with a slightly dry and bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is fairly noticeable.

Pours a fairly clear copper color, with a small off white head. Smells of some bready yeast, sharp fruits, apples and plums stand out the most. The flavor had some barley wine characters to it, had a noticeable alcohol burn and a sharp yeasty flavor mixed with the relentless fruits. Pretty nice hops show up as well, especially in the finish and aftertaste. Pretty nice brew.

Red-orange color... aroma is sweetly hoppy. Flavor hoppy, with a stinging PUNCH. Perfect. Sweet, light, syrupy body...

This beer pours a deep amber with a medium off whtie head. The aromas are grass, and slight citrus. The flavor reminds me of a double or imperial IPA. I like it though. Very dry and bitter with a grassy ending. This is a nice beer! Cheers!
