Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Light brownish red with nice head. Good citrus aroma. minimal malt profile with big, bitter piney hops. Hop flavor isn’t enough to justify the level of bitterness.

Thanks to robert at SL for sharing! Hoppier then I expected! Which is right up my ally. Nice brown color. Sweet flavor as I said, nice bitterness. Medium texture. Good beer.

btl shared by Springslicker. Clean carmaelly malt aroma. Golden brown pour. Deep sweet flavor that is carmelly with a very nice finishing bitter. Carbonation is a bit aggressive for me, mouthfeel is solid. Soldi beer that is a bit surprising and the bitter is very pleasant. thanks Jay

Always been a gamblin’ man, loved the label and the beer fortunately wasn’t a disappointment. The beer poured the red color on the label with a solid beige foam that left lacing after the sip. The 8.3% was well hidden. Other than the color, this one resembles an IPA. Very hop-forward in the nose and on the palate. Grapefruit with just enough caramel to offset the tart. Nicely done!!!

nice fresh hop aroma, floral and light pine .... sweet and bitter flavor ... nice malt taste with a great hop bitter balance ... orange peels and maybe some light spice ... not getting any alcohol burn whatsoever (this is good - for me at least).... leaves with a west coast IPA lingering ... pine resin is dominant as it warms .... this is really good ... I’m f’n diggin this brew ... Lagunitas never disappoints

22oz from Sam’s, Durham. Nice big pour, orange/red like hellfire, baby. Floral hops dominate the nose like ucusty sez, but once you start to taste the brew, it’s not really face-wrecking. It’s well balanced without compromising punch. Really good stuff.
