Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Poured red brown with a small white head. Aroma is floral and fruity, with sweet tangerine and more bitter orange rind hop aromas. The flavor is similar, with sweet fruity flavor up front similar to peach, pear, and tangerine, moving to a more bitter citrus hop finish. Delicious.

Golden with a lasting white head. Sweet and juicy aroma of peach and roses. Sweetish malt flavour with big peach flavour and strong hot alcohol. Fruity and quite bitter aftertaste.

Cask @ Goodbar. Nose is brown sugar, a bit of booze, caramel, orangey hops. Flavor is orange caramel, brown sugar. Finish isn’t overly sweet but not too dry either. A lot like a lighter N. Coast Stock Ale.

Thanks to my freshmen roommate for this rating! Pours a clear brown amber with sticky off white head. Nose of sweet maltiness with hop citrus. Flavor is more floral citrus hoppy than the aroma. Great label. Great beer.

In Reno for the weekend, picked this up at Florian’s in Truckee. Reddish amber pour from a bomber, with a nicely-packed bubbly off-white head. Aroma is distinct, with red apple (as opposed to the usual green) and caramel/toffee. Served slightly warm, the alcohol is present and warms your cheeks. Flavor pulls in the heavy caramel and toffee along with piney hops, but the apple aroma doesn’t come through on the tongue. A bit too sweet, a bit sticky/resiny, but a nice malt richness. This is a nice beer to start off my Tour de California (or at least Cali beers I couldn’t find in Missouri)
