Aroma was sweet fruity hops like an IPA at first then by finish a sweet malted well whatever. Amber body with off white head. Flavor started out good. Second glass seemed to loose all the hoppy zip first one had. Malted sweet syrup sugary thickness. Man it was like drinking two different beers. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2008 Pours beautiful coppery-red. Initial bitter taste (yeast and alcohol), moves into hoppy and metallic, and finishes slightly watery. I could not detect significant nutty notes in the malt taste (which was how this beer was referred to me). mephisto (1144), Taiwan
