Pours a slightly hazy deep maroon with a small white head. Smells fruits, apples and grapes, with some syrupy malts as well. The flavor has hints of pomegranate, very sweet and fruity. Maybe some plum as well. Definite sharp malt bitterness in there. A little caramel sweetness rounds out its flavors. Nothing too exciting. I dont get much alcohol heat at all. Drinkable, but unmemorable brew.

22oz bottle. Dark translucent red-orange with a small off white head. Earthy, herbal aroma with tinges of ruddy malt. Faint toasty and nutty malt flavors. Prominent malt sweetness with some herbal and floral hop components. Medicinal bitterness in the finish with a lingering earthy sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium, somewhat sticky.

Bomber from Bevmo; Nose of lagery graininess mixed with brown sugar and a little cherry fruitiness; red with a medium beige head; flavor has mild hop bitterness, a chocolate note, a fruity note, and finishes with light bitterness. Looks really pretty and tastes decent, but nothing spectacular about it. Wish they could make beer as great as Zappa’s music was!
