Dark ruby, off-white small head. Nose is syrupy and roasted malts, light warming spices. Quite creamy. Flavor syrupy malt & spices. Finishes roasted, dry and bitter. Slight warming alcohol and dark fruits. Medium bodied, a bit sticky palate. Nice warming strong ale.

Bottle. A reddish brown color with a tan head. A sweet brown sugar and raisin aroma with a bit of nuttiness. A rich, sweet caramel and earthy flavor. Robust in flavor but one dimensional in a way that can grow tiring by the end of 22oz.

bottle. hue 232, saturation 224, luminosity 51, red 105, green 3 and blue 23. thin coat of light-mayo color. smells of rock candy and alcohol. some hops, but not a ton. yuck, it tastes pretty bad. i mean, not bad, but there’s very little craft. it’s thin and one-dimensional syrup-water. naturally i have no choice but to buy a zappa beer.

Bomber from BlindEyedBetty - thanks! Dark, clear amber with an off white head. Mildly sweet, malty nose, caramel and brown sugar, earthy hop and a bit of fruitiness. Loose, drippy lacing. Sweet flavor, but with a bite - caramel and bitter nuts, earthy hop and some grapefruit zest. Ends a bit dry with a citrus rind bitter. I liked this a lot, particularly with fried food.

Bottled
Ruby red color, small brown head. Toasted, sweet raisiny aroma with spicey-like hops. Hoppy, sweet sugary flavor. Bready. Nicely balanced, very hoppy for ASA. Long bitter aftertaste. Not very complex, but enjoyable.
