Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Pours a clear, light orange color with a decent, frothy, barely off-white head. Aroma is hops, slightly musky. Beer goes down as the head sticks to my upper lip... hoppy, but leaves a tame aftertaste. Light/medium body. Something feels and tastes lacking. Not sure what it is. With a name like "IPA Maximus" I was expecting a bit more. But still, not bad for an IPA.

Bomber. Pours a crystal clear amber with three finger off-white head and a bunch of carbonation with nice lacing. Nose is floral hops, tangerine and pine. Palate is floral, citrus, sweet malts and a non-lingering dry bitter pine finish. Medium mouth feel - not a bad DIPA – one of the better Lagunitas beers I’ve had.

Max pours copper with small yellow-white head. Nose is strong with a beautiful balance, and the flavor follows as such, but neither is complex. Overall, perhaps a little watery and flat, but still enjoyable.

A golden/copper clear beer with a small white head that disappears. Aroma is great, citrusy (grapefruit) and floral hops. The taste is a bit thin, as is the mouthfeel, not as hoppy or bitter as I would like.

Bottle. Pours amber with a medium white head. Flowery, fruity, hoppy aroma with notes of exotic fruit, grass, pine, and grapefruit. Flavour is the same but has a good malty base that adds toffee and caramel. Long bitter flavour.

Draught: Beautiful creamy head atop a smoky peach color. Unbelievable aroma! Peaches and pine and maybe a little orange citrus. Very floral as well. Flavor is fruity orange but not oversweet. Nice oily texture coats the entire mouth. Peachy finish stretches out and does not want to let go. Wonderful double.

Pours a dark amber colour with excellent white head.... tastes strongly of malt with a fruity hoppiness, not too thick lick many double IPAs... a brilliant concoction indeed!
