Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

I have noticed, for the most part, Lagunitas offers some real nice big beers for less than some of their competitors. No different here. Pours a clear orange color with a nice initial sticky head and pretty good retention. Aroma is mostly floral grapefruit hops but there’s also some candy malts. The flavor consists of a lot of citrus grapefruit hops, especially up front, then mellows a bit with a lesser sweet malt profile. Finishes a bit bitter and dry. They are able to provide a lot of flavor with a relatively low abv too. And again, there’s real good value here. I’ll be getting this again.

Clear reddish amber with large off white head. Sweet and hoppy aroma with notes of caramel, pine and grapefruits. Flavor is sweet with plenty of hops, caramel and grapefuit notes. Good mouthfeel and a solid bitter finish. Nice.

Pours amber brown and clear with a cream colored head. Nutty and hoppy aroma. Super-hoppy and bitter taste with hints of nuts and carmel. Finishes with a kick of spicy hops at the back of the throat. Overall, a good IPA but the palate lacks to the smoothness of other IPAs.

Pours a hazy amber with bubbly carbination. 2 fingers rich cream head. Moderate lacing. Strong hop aroma, with grapefruit, citrus and malt. Wonderfully bitter up front followed by nice warm alcohol. Taste lingers quite awhile on the tongue but is fairly short elsewhere.

Amber, with a very thich head. Medium carbonation, very hoppy, little hint of malt and yeast. Slight fruity touch with some spices. Dry taste that leaves a tingy sensation on the palate.

Pours amber and clear with a white head, plently of lacing. Aroma of big citrus hops, grapefruit, orange, and herbs. Some floral hops as well. Taste is very hoppy with some light malt backing. Finishes with huge hop bitterness. Mouth is pretty stickey. Very nice IIPA.
