Jan 9, 2008 Very good IPA for the price. Pours a light copper color with a nice head. If your short on cash grab this one and try it out, you might just get hooked.

Jan 8, 2008 bottle: pours a clean cooper orange with a white head some lacing. aroam is grapefruit peel citrus hops a little bitter. little ot no malt adn a small peppery aroma. flavour is a bitter hops again no malt anywhere. finishes with more hop bitterness that lingers as an affter taste also some peppery flavour. good hop but no malt at all to balance it out.

Jan 7, 2008 Clear sparkling amber, creamy off white head. Hop blast of pink grapefruit and candied orangey pine that rest on a soft sweet malt undertone. Bitter piney citrus flavors warm to nutty earth-like notes. Hop loaded from start to finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, bitter finish (as expected). A well made strong (not double) IPA in my book. Price can’t be beat either at $4 / bomber….

Jan 5, 2008 My New Years beer.. opened 10 minutes to midnight, finished 30 minutes thereafter. Extremely over hopped, and not in a good way. Matches your Dogfish Head in the extreme hop category, but it was so overpowering that that the subtletry is gone. A little chewy malt, that if you let it sit on your mouth a while an let the hops wash over, you can get. Not thin on the tongue, bridging on chewy. Golden orange/yellow color when poured. Little fizzy, but since this is not a winter beer, it was not what I wanted after-all, I’ll re-visit this after the second bottle, but style-wise, as the D-IPA, it is at least representative. (Bottle Pour 12/31/2007 -1/1/2008)

Jan 1, 2008 Bottle. An unclear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and grassy. The flavor is sweet hoppy with a dry hoppy end. Quite simple, but nice. Kind of lacking.

Jan 1, 2008 22oz, paid 3.99 for it though and at that price this is a steal.. tastes like an IPA looks dark amber like an IPA and has lots of hops like an IPA seems to me Lagunitas has really hit the mark with this one.. only quirk... low ABV :D

Jan 1, 2008 Nice golden color, small white head. Nice hops flavor with a littlle less bitterness than you get in some others, which was nice. Very nice brew.
