gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jul 2, 2007 Had this one bottled in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Wow. This was crazy good. Clear, light orange pour with all kind of things happening in the nose. As one might expect from a IIPA it was very heavy on piney, floral and citrusy hops, which carried neatly into the flavor, dominated by grapefruit, rose and black tea. Finished strong and clean. Wow. An almost perfect beer.

SuperDave70 (723), Arizona, USA Aug 28, 2008 Tasty looking amber pour with a creamy tan head that lasts and laces nicely. Aroma of caramel malt, pine sap and grapefruit rind. Big hoppy flavor, lots of citrus and pine, and a smooth malt balance. Thick and sticky on the palate, with a long bitter finish. Yummy! ekstedt (1792), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 28, 2008 Bottle (65 cl) from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear amber with medium off-white head. A bit sugary malt aroma with citrus and pine hops.
