Feb 26, 2009 12oz Bottle. yellow amber color and a small lacing head. nose was nice and hoppy for a pale ale with sweet malt tones throughout. Great hoppiness that just peaks over the malt before leaving a sticky sense in your mouth before the next sip. Great if you like the hoppy version of a pale ale.

Feb 26, 2009 Bottled. Pours a slightly hazy orange, bronze colour with a small white head and a little lacing. Aroma is piney hops and a little bready malt as well. Flavour is lighter than expected with some pink grapefruit hops adding bitterness at the end. Quick dry finish with some hops lingering.

Feb 22, 2009 Sampled at the KLCC microbrew festival. Poured a dark golden color with a big white head. Nice tangerine and floral aroma with maybe just a hint of mint or something medicinal. Nice malt and citrus taste with a little hop snap at the end. Very good for an APA, would drink again in a heartbeat.

Feb 17, 2009 Bottle. Light copper color with a frothy off-white head. Floral, citrusy and slightly minty hop nose, maybe even some tropical fruit aromas. Clean malts infused with a solid PNW hop package. Drinks almost like a sessionable imperial IPA, if that makes sense. Pine and grapefruit zest, lightly resinous hop finish. An APA that’s right up my alley.

Feb 12, 2009 Outstanding citrus/pine aroma. Brilliantly clear gold in color with a thick frothy white head. Succulently juicy flavor of limes, tangerines, sweet toasty malts and some slight melons. Rather full bodied yet crisp with a nice bitter finish. One of the best Pale Ales in the USA!

Feb 10, 2009 KLCC Microbrewfest ’09: Deep orange/copper pour with a large snady head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops with just a hint of toffee. The flavor becomes more hop oriented with the florals rising and the citrus hops taking over. Just a little malt to balance the whole thing out. Nice lingering citrus bitters in the end.

Feb 5, 2009 Bottle @ Flying Saucer. Pours a deep, rich cheddar orange with an aroma of bitter peach and grapefruit. Flavor follows suit, with the grapefruit eventually dominating. A bitter film of fruity pine resin is left on the tongue. Average,mouthfeel. Good beer, but it lacks that extra push that would make it great. Damn slacker beer...

Jan 26, 2009 Bottle. Hazy dark amber. Light bubbles. Good citrus nose. Agressive hop flavour. Strong straight forward citrus. Lip smacking good. Not overpowering for a hophead but a liquid delicious hop experience. Reminds me a bit of Full Moon whereas I wrote the old Dogtown reminded me of SNPA and had more malt.
