Oct 15, 2009 355mL. I’m re-rating this after the one last night smelled literally like wet dog. Infected? But this one pours a clear, bit hazy, light amber with a small but rocky white head that has good retention and leaves sticky lacing. Great fresh APA aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruits, pineapple. Taste is rich with pineapple, light and refreshing caramel malt, citrus hops and then moves to some spicy nuttiness typical of an APA/IPA/DIPA that has sat for a bit too long. If this were ultra-fresh it would have rocked. But nevertheless, this was still excellent. Medium-bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is present and gives it a nice kick.

Oct 10, 2009 Bottle: Orange color, nice white head, thin lacing. Nose of pine and grapefruit, sweet and pleasant. The flavor is dry and hoppy, nice balance with a basic pale malt body. Zesty citrusy finish. Lightly bitter, creamy, balanced. Great west coast pale ale.

Oct 7, 2009 Bottle split with Tony. Pours a clear amber bod. Aroma is great hop (pine and citrus) aroma. Taste is clean fresh pine hop.

Golden pour, nose is sweet malts and orange oils. FRESH cascade(?) flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Excellently balanced.

Oct 2, 2009 Pours rich golden with white head. wonderful aroma with rich pine and citrus as well as a solid malt undertone. Flavor is a beautiful balance of malt, bitterness and hop flavor. Rich, but not lingering with the bitterness cutting though. The medium high carbonation adds to the experience helping the malt come out as well as accentuating the hops. A really great APA and what the style should be about; balance.

Sep 29, 2009 Draft at Sheffields. Pours a nice golden color, white head. Nose is standard Lagunitas dank. Resiny and floral. Taste is very well balanced, leaning a bit towards the hops. Very nice.
