Aug 1, 2009 ~Pours a light clear amber color with big white head.
~Strong aroma of sticky sweet grapefruity hops. Malts are present but dominated by hops.
~Bittersweet hop flavor, grapefruit, pine, and grass. Some malt backbone. Again dominated by hops.
~Medium feel, medium carbonation, very bitter finish.
~Good thing I like hops. A bit overkill for a pale ale. Taste like a IPA to me. Still good. When I am looking for a pale ale I expect something a bit more mellow on the bitterness.

Flavor: Good balance with malt and hops light fruit like flavors.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: Nice light pale ale.

Jul 23, 2009 2009 Bottle - Pours a light orange with a small white head...aroma is massively hop floral, with some honey and caramel malt...flavour is sharply bitter on the front end, resin, light grain...malt is very subdued and nicely present only in the background...good stuff

Jul 18, 2009 Orangish pour with thick white head, lots of carb. Aroma of lots of hops. Lagunitas hops. Flavor is hops, caramel, sharply. light mouthfeel, nice carbonation, Finish is bitter and long. Pretty great pale for hop heads.

[ Trade by Pinball ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, grapefruit notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and marinatet madarin bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to light full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090621]

Jul 11, 2009 12oz bottle from some random grocery store in asheville, n.c. - clear orange gold pour with a thin white head and some spotty lacing. aroma is pine sap with a touch of citrus. taste is a steady march of hops that accelerate into a full bitter sprint. I think there was some honey and grapefruit in there somewhere - but gets trampled by the bitterness.

Jul 5, 2009 Pours a murky orange with a foamy head - aroma of citrus, hops, malt and pine. Taste was extreme grapefruit - actually tasted like grapefruit juice with some beer splashed in - and some hops and pine for good measure. I actually enjoyed this refreshing brew quite a bit.

Jun 22, 2009 Grainy cereal malt backbone. Some light caramel sweetness and earthy character. Nice citrus and grassy hop presence. Great session brew.
