| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Lovely pale ale. Very close in character to the Lagunitas IPA with a dense resiny piney hop character. Dry, bitter finish. Just like I like it. Oscbert (552), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2009 ~Pours a light clear amber color with big white head.
~Strong aroma of sticky sweet grapefruity hops. Malts are present but dominated by hops.
~Bittersweet hop flavor, grapefruit, pine, and grass. Some malt backbone. Again dominated by hops.
~Medium feel, medium carbonation, very bitter finish.
~Good thing I like hops. A bit overkill for a pale ale. Taste like a IPA to me. Still good. When I am looking for a pale ale I expect something a bit more mellow on the bitterness. BrewDad (2393), Olympia, Washington, USA
