Commercial Description:
This is not the original Pale Ale as brewed in far away 1993 in the back of the Old House of Richards Building in West Marin hamlet of Forest Knolls right next to little Lagunitas. It is way better. Back then the beer tasted like broccoli and kerosene and the carbonation ate right through and drained your stomach into your gut...

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet æalty with strong notes of grapefruit and fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit especially citrus fruits and hops, the malt is very light, leading to a quite bitter finish.

Bottled at Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen. Clear deep golden, small head. Lychee aroma. Chewy, bready crystal malt actually overpowers the hops. Medium bodied with god bitterness. A well made beer with more depth than first meets the eye.

Bottle at Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Clear amber coloured with a huge white head. Fruity aroma of peaches, hops, pine needles and grape fruits. Fruity flavour of peaches, hops, pine needles and caramel. Dry hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Much more hoppy and less watery than the original dogtown pale ale. I prefer this edition.
