Not the best beer from Lagunitas but they don't make a bad beer. Better than most other English Pale ales but just not for me.

Charred smokey caramel aroma. Sweet malty palate, caramel and toffee, a little light in body. Disappointing pour.

Clear amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and alcohol. Taste moderately sweet, some floral, but it's too watery/thin. Improves some as it approached room temperature, but still falls short to me.

Pours medium/dark brownish amber, small lacy froth. Aroma is malty and somewhat subdued. Malts are prominent, nuts and bark with caramlized sweetness balancing against a lesser presence of hops. An interesting creation and an improvement on the style. Readily available products (like Bass) should be as good as this.

Russet colored. Head was minimal. Oaty nose. Very good malt flavors. Soft, round mouthfeel. Dry, decent effervescence. Only slightly grapey.

Dark amber color, transluminous. A mix of hops and malt in the aroma. Taste like a lesser hopped English IPA with Earthy (rotting leaves) type of bitterness. Good Beer, Thanks Loweredsixth!

Yeasty and light. Hints of flowers, some bananna esters. A vibrant orange/amber body with a thick dense, creamy off white head. Toastey and dry with hints of light roast. A dry effervescent palate. Spicy and woody. A great, full body and balance. Some cloying holds the flavors for quite a time. I like it.

Dude, this beer is subtlely awesome, thank you beerguy101!!!! It pours a medium amber color with hints of magenta with a small wafty white head. The aroma shed hints of caramel malt, sugar and nuts. The taste rocks...its interestingly caramelized and nutty at the same time...a little too sweet at times, but definitely not bordering on bad at all in terms of sweetness. Perfect carbonation level and nice mouthfeel...not incredibly thick by any means. Syrupy sugar feel in the aftertaste..dry and thick aftertaste. Very nicely crafted...
