Solid, sweet, malty old brown, with just enough hop flavour to let you know it wasn't brewed in England.

Wasn't quite what I was expecting...thought it would be a lot more hoppy. Aroma was that of the syrup that is poured over flan...a slightly carmelized dark sugar scent. Taste was perfect for a late Friday afternoon, nothing too exciting or amazing but very solid and enjoyable. I didn't feel like the palate was too sweet, the ale ended with just a touch of sticky bitterness.

Really pretty Orange/brown color with a substantial off-white head. The aroma was very sweet...English hops...caramel...burnt sugar. The flavor was sweet as well...caramel...subtle hints of chocolate...English hops bitterness...malty. The finish was wet...coated the tongue...let a long aftertaste of English hops bitterness and burnt sugar. My one criticism is that the beer felt a tad too watery...a little thin. Another interesting brew from Lagunitas!

Bottled (at the Rate Beer gathering at Flying Saucer, Addison).
Nut brown. Dry and nicely malty. Gentle and soft with notes of burnt sugar and a pleasant mild finish.

Very light, peach color with uniqueness value. Crazy flavor, leaving my mouth feeling parched. Mild in spots, other places suggesting an alcohol beyond its moderate abv.

Bottle. Amber, small head. Sharp, floral, and strong aroma. Winelike and acidic. Grapes, hints of white vinegar. Lingering finish.

Looked like a blush wine....almost had a "pinkish hue" to it. Smelled of fruit and hops with notes of cranberry. It had a nice sweet taste to it closed out well by a slightly tart finish.

Bottle. Copper color with a light brown head. An earthy, light coffee, malty, and very nutty aroma. Sweet malts and a little grainy. It has a big flavor that lasts.
