| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Draft at HDG. Brownish red with a foamy, tan head. Aroma is slightly sour with banana and caramel. Taste is shockingly sweet, with dried fruit and even more sweet banana. I’m not getting any sourness out of this now. In fact, I’m wondering why I would even think this would be sour at all. Some lemons but it could also be orange/tangerine which I can only think is from Cascade. Just too sweet for my hop loving palate. Sickboy282 (1100), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Orange tan color with a smaller light cream colored head. Caramel and flesh aromas. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Translucent amber-chestnut in color with a galaxy spun saliva spackle on top and a tannish-grey wrung hugging the edges. Aroma is a minor setback, pulling with rubbery cocoa, marinated prunes, cocoa-buttered figs, caramelized pistachios and pecans, and rye party loaves. Full-flavored brown ale is offset by a nutmeg cocoa ash characteristic. Chocolate-rye settles in with a black patent bran and oatmeal persuasion. Nearly Hershey syrup unto oat flakes. Very subtle and concentrated. Dark honey sweetness tarsiers a sweet chocolate nut tendency. Smooth, milky chocolate comes out more as we transition and transcend dessert drink status. Medium-bodied and an overall palate pleaser. Tiny amounts of bitterness and a brown sugar underbelly come about in the finish. Thanks for sharing, Blake! Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
