| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 13, 2008 Pours dark red-brown with a thin white head. Smells of nectarines. Flavor is cherries, then lemon, and then hops. What I love about barley wines is that they can be fruity, and yet have a wonderful complexity to them. I smell and taste several different fruits here, and yet it has a hoppy kick to round it all out. Palate is syrupy, but not in a bad way. Excellent all around. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Fruit aromas are definetly noticeable with caramel malt and citrus hop. Pretty much the some notes are in the flavor but really blended good. I can’t say enough on how this brewery is really coming along finely. zootfinster (179), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 tap at flying saucer. thoroughly enjoyable... sweet malty and citrusy hop flavor. Super sweet malty flavor preceeded by hop kick. This beer has balance but it takes a few seconds for it all to come together. Interesting and delightful markwise (1175), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 10, 2008 22 oz. from Knightly Spirits. This is a great Barleywine. It has the typical barleywine aroma with notes of caramel, raisins, and alcohol potency. Strong flavors of raisins and brown sugar. It is not as severely hopped as some other BW’s, so its finish is not as abrasive. Good stuff. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 9, 2008 On tap at Redlight. Clear copper-red color with a thin, even persistent white head. Caramel sweetness on the aroma, very slight peppery hop background. Mostly caramel malt aroma. Fruity start on the taste, then a flush of floral candied hops comes in and lingers through to the finish. Still too generic in some sense to stand out, but was still very pleasing to drink. ogglethorp (887), Ohio, USA
