Golden brown colour. Aroma mixes candy, earth, caramel. Rich body, with lots of chewy malts, earth and light fruity notes (peach, pear). Balanced, vibrant.

Hazy dark amber color, thin head, thin bubbles. Aroma of malt, apricot, vanilla, caramel, phenol. Malty, good structure, not too mellow, with a good hoppiness. The final (powerful) is balanced with good quantities of malt, caramel, hop; warming. Very good.

(22oz bottle) Clear copper body topped by small but persistent off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, raisin, cherry, caramel. Taste is sweet, caramel, raisin/plum, candied cherry, some grapefruit. Medium alcohol warming. Medium-full body, moderate stickiness. More a malt bomb than a hop bomb, though there’s plenty of bitterness too.

Bottle at the Spotify tasting. Big heavy barley wine aroma. Bit more cultured in the mouth. Good toffee, nice sweet jammy fruit and a tangerine edge. Good big hops.

Bottle @ home. Dark amber color. Vinous aroma with grapes, candy sugar and oak. Full bodied, malty. Sugary sweet, alcoholic flavor with plums, grapes, pineapple and tannines. Earthy hops, especially in the finish. Likeable.
