| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 22, 2006 Brown body, small khaki head. Sweetish aroma of gingerbread and rye, malt, muted dark sugar notes. Sweet malt flavour, more prominent dark sugars with light hop bitterness that accents the dry caramel notes nicely. The dryness keeps it from becoming cloying. Medium palate (3+). Quite nice! 7+/3/9/3+/17-18 thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated brown colored body and thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The balanced flavor contained notes of malt hops caramel and mildly vinous. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. Grovlam (3825), Copenhagen, Denmark

Light cloudy body with an amber color. Good mix of hop and malt in the aroma. Grapefruit, pine, elderflower, rye bread, caramel, liquorish. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and a dry texture. Light alcohol can be felt over the palate. Moderated bitter hoppy flavor with good balancing sweet notes. Good dry and bitter finish. Theis (3791), Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 1, 2008 "Twenty ’Aught-8’ Bottle’. Burnt orange beer with an initial cover that dies away quickly. The aroma is orange-soapy, but hints at the high gravity. Once you sip this, there’s no doubt that there’s an alcohol kick lingering here ... this goes down your gullet burning like heated oil. Once you get past that, you start to detect the flavors of rich orange, grape, and smooth sugary malt. Beautiful brew. (#3443, 5/1/2008) Dedollewaitor (3764), Odense, Denmark
