Big malty aromas of carmel and toffee. Citrusy hop aromas, too.
Medium coppery red, tan head that collapses quickly but leaves a nice ring of foam at the edge of the glass
Rich, malty start with citusry, piney hop character. sweet almost cloying finish.
Full body, light-med carbonation. Sticky
Very nice barleywine. a touch on the sticky side, would be nice to be a touch more attenuated.

May 20, 2006 Nice ruby body, minimal tan head. Awesome aroma, yeast is pronounced, caramel malts also. Great body, typical taste of a barley wine, nice malt accents, some fruit is evident as well. Green grass in the end, some light straw as well. Very nice.

May 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a rich copper color wih a decent sized beige colored head. Aroma is sweet caramel, light citrus, light fruits. Flavor is caramel, citrus, pear, pineapple, raisin. Palate is medium to full bodied, medum carbonation, finished sweet and lightly warming. Nice brew!

May 21, 2008 Bottle@VinensVerden,Odense. Pours deep brown with a creamy off white head. Super sweet malty aroma, caramel & bread. Oily, slick, soft & smooth. Warmth from alcohol. Good dose of American hops. Nice!

Apr 10, 2008 Pours a light amber/brown with a small tan head. Semi-sweet aroma of caramel and toffee, along with piny/herbal hops. Flavor is full of doughy sweet malts, with a syrupy sweet undertone, and subtle herbal hops throughout. Palate is medium/full, super smooth, and slightly sticky.

Jun 22, 2008 22 oz bomber purchased from EZ Liquors. I’m glad that I left the price tag on this one because seeing that I only paid $3.89 for this shows that not all good beers need to be expensive. Pours a very clear orangey brown with a smaller creamy light beige head. Aroma of toffee, honey and raisin. Flavor is nice and sweet with notes of caramel and toffee and no trace of alcohol. This is one well done barley win that I wish I stocked up on.

Aug 12, 2009 Deep cloudy amber color. Aroma of sweet bread, raisins, a hint of alcohol. Nice strong aroma. Very sweet and strong flavor, well balanced. Just the right amount of hops. Very malty, medium-heavy bodied. Velvety smooth mouthfeel. Very nice.
