May 11, 2008 It comes out of the tap a clear golden with a fine-bubbled and persistent head. Aroma is richly malty and wheaty with a strong citrus overtone. Flavor is malty and wheaty with a touch of fruit and a strange "rubbery" component. This saison is smooth but lively.

Apr 9, 2008 Served at The “Free” Beer Party – 2008 at Taco Mac Lindbergh in celebration of the 75 anniversary of the end of prohibition.<P>
Poured yellow/orange, super cloudy with a thick white foamy one inch head. Smells yeasty/malty like a Belgium. First taste is smooth, light, with only a hint of the Pinot Noir. This is good, but not something I would seek out.

Feb 17, 2008 1/3/08 @ the Tour @ the Brewery with Bikesandbeer, 8th Brewery of the trip, 1st of 3 of the day. A special one off made by the brewers for the Christmas party and they had it on tap in the draft room for samples. As much as I like the regular version this one was pretty stellar the wine really added some nice touches. Pours gold with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and vinious. Taste is really sweet, and full bodied with a nice big taste.
