Aug 28, 2009 The name doesn’t lie, definitly hopped up to the extreme. Earthy and hopey. It hits you in the nose when you first smell it and tastes just as it should.

Aug 28, 2009 22oz bomber into pint glass. wow this one is bitter, wouldnt have it any other way! 100+ IBU’s, gotta love it! Nice clarity and color, small white head and floral aroma.

Aug 28, 2009 Very good DIPA. This beer made me put Lagunitas up there with my favorite California hop-centered brewers, like Port brewing and stone. It had a very Rich, resiny, citrus hop character that was really well balanced by a solid malt backbone. I would drink this alot!

Aug 28, 2009 Strong fruit aroma. Peaches, mangoes, apricots and lychees. Flavour also has a strong fruit kick. Flavour has lychees, pronounced bitterness and a small amount of alcohol. Some soap. Medium bodied. Aftertaste has bread and soapy hops.

Aug 28, 2009 Great name....pretty good DIPA. Citrus notes in the aroma with some hints of pine and malt. Flavor was pretty fresh with great grapefruit hop presence and some hints of pine/resin. Malt was subtle and not too sweet.

Aug 27, 2009 Bottle: Poured a bright orangey color ale with large foamy head with great retention and perfect lacing. Aroma of floral hops with great notes of grapefruit. Taste is also a very well balanced mix between some floral hops with citrus and grapefruit ester with a subtle bitter finish. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no signs of alcohol. What a surprise and what a great mix between slightly sweet malt with great hoppy presence while not overtaking the beers and more profile then just bitterness.

Aug 25, 2009 Lagunitas always seems to have a new quality beer making it out east. Hop Stoopid is well done 2XIPA, with green hop juice deliciously added to the brew. Lighter ale than I expected, but a full bodied Ale nonetheless. Very well done, and as usual Lagunitas was a deal for a bomber @ the liquor store.
