Not as bitter or dry as you would expect, in fact I got some creaminess in the palate - which I loved. csbosox (1084), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2009 $3.99 for a 22oz bottle, needless to say, this was a good deal. Excellent clarity, gold colored with an orange tint and a two fingered head. Plenty ’o carbonation. Sweet orange blossom honey and tangerines in the nose. Aroma is pleasant, but not too intense. Taste is wildflower honey, bitter orange and pine with a strong bitterness that must be blunted at the end with the combating residual sweetness. The beer never comes across as sweet, which is a very good thing. Will buy again when I am looking for an IBU fix. 502Flavors (629), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 29, 2009 750 for 6 dollars and change. A pale copperish golden pour with a descent barely off-white head. Aroma is very nice - sweet juicy grapefruit and citrus with just a hint of piney resinous hops. Flavor is definitely more resinous but not super biting. Very unexpectedly smooth on the finish. The alcohol doesn’t exhibit that bold of a presence, but the hops seem to bring the booziness out a bit (weird). Medium bodied with low carbonation, very nice on the palate. Overall: fantastic stuff and a must try for all the hop heads out there. dimenhetfield (210), , Florida, USA

It hits you in the nose when you first smell it and tastes just as it should. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA

This beer made me put Lagunitas up there with my favorite California hop-centered brewers, like Port brewing and stone. It had a very Rich, resiny, citrus hop character that was really well balanced by a solid malt backbone. I would drink this alot! Crit (2409), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
