Excellent lace from the dense head. Relatively clear, with a beautiful golden color. Great Floral smell--lots of grapefruit to the nose. Short beginning to the malt, soon to default to the strong, strong hop bite. Interestingly, the aftertaste is very short. Good body with a slightly high carbonation. Way too easy to drink, considering the ABV.

Clear golden amber pour with nice but fading head. Obvious poty hop aromas, flowers and pine, but also a sugary caramel aspect. Easy drinking for sure, and has a potent bittering hop kick which yields a syrupy warming touch. Tooth coating. A quality brew, however, I liked it more when it was slightly chilled as opposed to letting it warm up a bit, I felt it helped the mouthfeel. Good overall

22Oz bottle pours a hazy golden orange with a nice full off-white head. Lots of sticky lacing. HUGE Grapefruit, pineaple aroma. Classic. Flavor cant quite keep up, but p[lenty bitter as the commercial escription indicates. Lots of fresh hop flavor to make it not just an IBU Bomb. Nice palatel blasting dry bitter smack up the side of the head at the end. I kind of wish the ABV was not quite so high, I’d enjoy drinking more of it. Nice big DIPA.

The aroma from this pour is so much hops that it smells like pineapple, which I have never smelled before. It’s lovely! It pours a light gold with lots of beading and a decent head on top. First taste is all hops and I can’t seem to get a sweetness out of it. I’m not complaining though. This doesn’t have the mouthfeel of other beers of this style, a bit thin and burning, but still nice. I’m glad I bought 2 bombers of this!

Bomber: Aroma has got a nice grapefruit hop texture, somewhat grassy, and a light amount of candy mixed in. The appearance is a amber/golden color with a nice big fluffy white head that lingers around for quite a while. Taste is surprising, different flavor meld over your palate as the brew goes down into your gullet. Hops, the Lagunitas candy twang but this time it actually works well in the brew. Then some noticeable malts and some big juicy citrus fruits. Overall, I liked this a lot another good on from a brewery that I usually think make just above par beers. Cheers!

I have been looking forward to trying this one. A nice pleasant hop aroma with a bit more sweetness than I expected. Just a small head on this one. Starts with some malty sweetness before a very strong bitter kick in the mouth. Not as pine and ctirus as I anticipated. Nice long oily finish. Anther good one from Lagunitas!

Wow, for an Impy IPA, it’s such an easy quaff. This pours a pretty orange into the glass, with a nice eggshell head that leaves generous spotty lace. The nose is perfect spot-on for grapefruit, oranges and a forest bed of pine needles. Nice grapefruit, rind/zest/peel, easy-going malts, some oranges... yummy. The finish is of nice lingering pine resin, and maybe just a kiss of alcohol to close the pull. The mouthfeel is substantive, yet very, very smooth and easily drinkable. This may in fact be the easiest quaff for an IIPA I’ve ever had. Complex, yet the ABV is absolutely superbly integrated. It never feels heavy or slathering in the mouth. Very nice job on the integration of this one.

Very hoppy, and my bias is not for overly hop laden beers. Still, I wanted to give this one a try. Very strong and grassy flavor, it deserves the 100+ IBU rating: BITTER. Woulldn’t have another, but glad I tried it.
