Pour is chill hazed copper golden with a thick one inch slightly off white head. Thick, sticky lacing. Aroma of giant, pine grassy resin hops. The hoppiness burst out of the bottle even while pouring. Some lemon peel in the back. Really not much malt to speak of. Taste is gritty, piney, resiney hop goodness straight forward and simple, this is a hop bomb, though the malt adds more to the backbone then the nose suggested. Malt is toasty and biscuity in the back. Finish is dry, bitter and nicely grassy. Palate is thin to medium, as mentioned bitter and dry. Hops were nice and clean in this one. jkaiser (220), Orlando, Florida, USA

The hops were so dinstinct, that after 43 other beers I still longed to try this one again. Just enough citrus and bitterness to leave yo wanting another bottle, and another... Swalden28 (1515), McKinney, Texas, USA

Pours a great looking gold with thick off-white head. Aroma is hoppy citrus. Flavor is nicely balanced as well, lots of hop flavor, piney, citrus, malty, seems delicate as well, nice strong bitter. Mouthfeel is medium body with medium high carbonation, it is a soft beer as well. Over all, not something to cringe at, very smooth and refreshing.......... | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2009 bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours mostly clear light copper with a medium sized fizzy head. It has a pleasant aroma of citrus and flower accented hops. The flavor is of good, fresh, strong, hops with citrus notes. A good malt backbone supports all that hops and the finish is the expected lingering bitterness. Well done.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2009 Wife picked this up in Wis. Good pine and citrus aroma. Copper body with off white head and good laceing left on pint glass. Some dry cirus vine resin in flavor along with some sugary citrus flavor. Cool and crisp on the palate little dry lingers afterward but good refreshment. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2009 Bomber from Canals in Lawrenceville, NJ. Light chestnut pour under a medium dusky white head. Piney and citrusy aroma. Grapefruit punches you up front then the flavor mellows and balances with hearty malt. Mild vanilla and milk chocolate compliment the flavor. Silky mouthfeel with a bitter hook. A smartly crafted stoopid ale.
